《馬爾柯姆的一家》是美國福克斯廣播公司的一部情景喜劇，由林伍德·布默原創，曾七次獲得艾美獎、一次獲得格萊美獎、7次獲得金球獎提名。劇集在2000年1月9日開始播映，至2006年5月14日第7季播映完畢歷時6年半。 劇集的主人公是馬金（Malcolm，弗朗基·穆尼斯飾），他在四兄弟中排行第三（第五季志明出生后共有五兄弟），父母分別是夏爾（Hal，布賴恩·克蘭斯頓飾）和露絲（Lois，簡·卡奇馬雷克飾）。家中長子范斯（Francis，克里斯托弗·馬斯特森飾）離家在軍校就學，列斯（Reese，賈斯廷·貝菲爾德飾）、馬金和杜爾（Dewey，埃里克·佩爾·沙利文飾）留在家中，馬金在家里的三兄弟中排行中間，劇集也因以得名（Malcolm in the Middle直譯為馬爾科姆在中間）。劇集前期集中描述作為天才青少年的馬金如何面對古怪的生活，后期則逐漸更深入地探討劇中其他人物。

As Deadline reported exclusively last week, the order is believed to be for six episodes, with the main cast, including John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert and Lecy Goranson, expected to return. The renewal took longer to finalize because dates for the cast, particularly Goodman, had to be worked out, I hear.
